Candy Buffet and Engagement; Lagu Tema: Haven't Met You Yet by Michael Buble

On the 31st of Dec, I got a mandate from Purple Lady to become the MUA for her sister's engagement. I was so excited, because Purple Lady is here, haven't seen her since her wedding and that's been a while. And I am more than glad to lend a hand. I came over very early (altho the event was scheduled after Isyak, because I want to avoid traffic) and offer some help if they should need some.

For this event, PL had came up with something called Candy Buffet. No foreigner among the West Malaysians, but still very new in Sarawak. So, she considered this as a pilot test. And it turned out very2 successful. It is basically a buffet spread of candies, presented in the most beautiful manner.

 Strawberry Love Letter, Spinny Lollipop, Swirly Marshmellow, Polo o'Sugar, Toffee Truffles, Cloudy Ice Cream!Kudos to PL for such creative names!

The setup is Pretty to the max!

Now, comes my main duty. The Make Up Artist. Stepping back to my experience, I used to do make ups for my Uni friends for annual dinners and some functions here and there. And that too, had been a while. I was stunt when PL still has the slightest trust in me for this task.

I hold strong to Maya Karin's quote: Beauty comes from beautiful skin, so my task is a no-brainer. Senang nak make up orang yg dah sedia ada cantik and no skin problem. She demanded for a sweet yet outstanding up-do. I was relieved when my client is satisfied with the end product. "Good make up is when it is hardly there"
