I bet most of you have tried Prawn Olio di Pizza Hut and would fall for it. I have a strong inclination towards colorless but tasty food, I dun fancy yang merah2, kuning2... So, today I attempted making my very own."Prawn Olio Suka Duka Aida the Pinkgoddess" haahaha. Dijamin sangat2 sedap!! I wonder if I can make similar like this again next time cuz yang ni main agak2 jer.
The Ingredients:
Spaghetti (for my case, I use Angelhair spaghetti, u know, Goddess, Angels.. they are
4-5 prawns
1 clove of garlic (chopped)
Half clove of onion (chopped)
Dried chillies (you can either cut the chillies of leave them in chunks)
Maggi seasoning
Salt
Pepper
Method:
Boil the spaghetti. In another pan, saute the garlic, onion and dried chillies in the heated oil. DO NOT let them turn brown, cuz you want to enjoy the juicy texture of them in your spaghetti later. Add in the prawns and stir about until they turn PINK. Stir constantly, add some salt, dash of seasoning and sprinkle a lil bit of pepper. At this stage, the taste is almost perfect but I cheated with some flavor granules. Put off the fire, then mix the spaghetti thoroughly. (This is the tricky part, remember you are not making fried noodle, dun fry the spaghetti together, you mix it). You are done before you knew it. :)
Mom said dishes are best served on white plates. Cuba tengok rancangan masakan, and fine dining, mesti diorg pakai pinggan putih..
