Dastan of Persia - Lagu Tema: 21 guns by Green Day

My initial attempt to drag Mom to watch Prince Of Persia failed miserably. Her reason was "The Prince is not cute enough" @#@$*! Ironically, every girl I know was 'dastanized' after watching POP. I finally watched POP (after being enticed by 100% of good reviews) with my best friend Aza. Both of us were very obsolete to evaluate the beefy Dastan (and the movie of course) on our own.. My verdict would be.... 5 shining stars! hehe

POP can't be any familiar, I grew up playing POP game back in 1994 when we 1st bought our PC. In the movie, you can actually see Dastan's signature roof to roof leaps! I went bonkers every time I saw him doing that. Hahaha. Please buy my word, this movie offers more than just Dastan flexing his muscle & the Princess proclaiming her own so-called beauty! :) Enjoy Watching!

Occupied my morning with a wedding invitation of Mom's staff's daughter. Nice & intimate wedding indeed :) Sorry u have to imagine because I didn't have any pics of the bride & groom as I was seated aligned with the dais. Hahaha..

I watched Robin Hood today, stubborn I am by nature, I chose to watch despite its bad reviews. Yes, I accepted the punishment in the form of 2 hours of boredom. (there goes my RM11) ##@%$

Btw, I have a new found Love, Houndstooth. Since leopard print is banned in my wardrobe

Never I thought that emotional pain can become a physical one. Lagu Tema: Sunday Morning by Maroon 5

After a horrendous weep last night, I woke up to an excruciating chest pain this morning. I thought it'd go away but I was wrong as it worsen towards the end of the day. It was progressive and appreciating. It was worth worrying cuz recently, Mom's colleague collapsed due to morning chest pain. Now he's in the ICU. Nauzubillahi minzalik. After work, Mom brought me to the hospital, and thanks2 to my friends, I skipped the waiting part.  Thank you again to the medical team. They conducted a thorough check up on me, ECG, BP, (my BP is low oh!) and x-ray. After the interrogation, the doc classified me as having inflammation at the rib cartilage, (whatever) Ni doc cakap k, this prone to attack yang kurus and tinggi. Wah! neither I think I am. hehe... In my defense, I think it is because of my protruding ribs yang if you pegang mmg fragile habis. And  the doc said it can also be caused by vigorous work out. yekee... tak tanya pun..

Oh ya, Aza paid me a visit during lunch hour (after luch hour actually ehe), here I go AGAIN with my endless Oldtown posts.. :)

Aza's bf kept calling her now and then...so sweeet..he (trust me, I took these in 3 different events)

The long pending float. Finally, not bad..I order sebab kaler pink. Aza had chocolate, it has a strong milk aftertaste, yucky. he

AF oh AF Lagu tema: Generasiku by OAG

After 5 years of abandoning AFs, AF8 managed to regain my attention although only at the last few concerts. My reviews from the 5th place- 1st.

Iwan: Self-proclaimed So-called pretty boy. I guesss that's it.ahaha

Maulana: This hunk really fits the bill of the Jazz genre! Aznil is right, he has the advance among the other 90!!! AF's products! Whatever attempt to make him a Jazz singer, it works out! I think he'll survive the water, Walaupun bukan Juara. Like Akim over Hafiz, Adam over Zahid. Got it?

Daus: He better watch out, again, lacking x-factor. I wish all the best for him. Easily slips among the others. Chaiyo2 Daus!

Adira: Untung sabut timbul untung batu tenggelam, although she is the closest competitor to Shahir, she has to work extra hard to stand out post AF. I just cannot feel her. She's just another girl-next-door who happens to have the talent to sing, sorry, Adira's fans, no offense. I think to be an artist you have to have the x-factor and edgy. Macam Stacy. Although you made it into the finals, things are different altogether after AF. betul tak? 

Shahir: Towards the end of AF8, I noticed there's this coyish braced boy. He got this goody two shoes attitude which I strongly feel would win fans over. Dengan imej 'suci', he is a reincarnation of Mawi and extra aid in the look department to boot. After keeping up with the diaries, memang dia baik. Jenis tak sentuh perempuan, lurus bendul, tak attention hungry, Kalau nak jadi juara AF kena ada these attributes tau. Ini cerita betul, when he was voted out, I said potong jari la if they didn't impose the AFMASUK and they did, after that I cakap lagi, potong tangan la kalau Shahir tak masuk, he did. (and also after all the fiasco and retaliates from the viewers protesting to boycott AF. hahaha) Congratulations to Shahir, you deserve to be the 8th champion. Untung la u can settle the braces fee sekaligus!

P/S: Kudos to KRU, all the singles are catchy & best giler. Norman memang business minded, tapau semua lagu for these students and savor the royalties later!

Watched SHREK with MOM today, I love it, The audience reacted the most to PUSS in Boots.. cuz he had became a very fat cat this time around. (ke mmg org Kuch sukaaa sgt cats)  Hehehe I will not gonna summarize the details, just go and watch yourself lah..

We got 30 minutes before the movie began, this attracted me. They danced to the World Cup anthem. Comel Gilaaa kan3??

Semalam, sambil menonton diari akade grey's anatomy, tekak ini mendambakan peanut butter toast la pulak.. I went to the kitchen to prepare the best peanut butter toast yang mungkin dapat mengalahkan Old Town White coffee yang saya over expose tu.. setelah menyapu dengan dua kali sapuan, and stacked 2 breads together, sy pun memadatkannya ke dlm toaster setelah mentrim the crust, i don't eat crust!

setelah mendengar bunyi TAP!, I know the roti is done already... tapi mungkin its double jadi agak sukar to take it out dr toaster tu....

Dahlah sy lapar and Grey's Anatomy cannot wait ok!, sy pun dengan spontaneously menonggengkan toaster itu to get my bread out!

U know what came out together? A crispy golden toasted brownish lizard!!!!!!!!!!!!! yes CICAK. Cicak yang well toasted! OMG, I could clearly see its bones and they were golden brown!! Kalau nak tahu how it looks like exactly? macam ikan masin goreng tu yang dalam nasik lemak tu. exactly like that! urghhh, dengan tindakan refleks nya I menghampas the toaster. I want to break and break up with the toaster, I don't want anything to do with it anymore.. Urgghhh

Cicak is the haiwan yang I paling geli dlm duniaaa and to have CICAK and food in one sentence is just tooo gross!beyond Imagination ok! Setahun la puasa makan toasted bread nih!!

I think I have a major issue with color coordination, since I am obsessed with pink, I tend to wrap myself with a ridiculous amount of pink beyond your imagination and of different tones of it. 

And when it comes to other color, I suck. I couldn't care less what color I wear. "It's not pink so why should I care??" ujar Aida. The bad thing about me is I don't have any confidence issue, and no, that is not someting I am proud of and I am actually NOT boasting about it. 

And even worse, I eventually resort to black to be safe. I have loads of blacks tops and bottom, and if you don't catch me wearing pink, it is usually black. For me tak pernah ada istilah I buy this tudung cuz I have baju of that similar hue. 

Not until you see these, then you know why I brood over this thing.

Brown, white, dark blue, red?? The max color to be worn is 2, I have 4? and they are of the different hue family!!

Black to be safe. (with green!?! and red ) ho ho ho~ its xmas!

The red Alice speaks the loudest!

Brown polka dot and orange-brown stripes? If fashion police is to bump into me, I'd  be behind bars already!

Green, brown, red, orange! Oh my!

Again, black to be safe. Did I just see red mary janes??

Yellow & Fuschia? I rest my case!

Seriously I need to do something. Be fair to other colors. 

I have been discriminating other colors over pink for too long already!

Another appointment with Dr. Alex today for monthly tightening. Currently, my appointments are in closer gaps to keep up with the progress. So far so good. :D Anyways, for the 1st time, today I chose transparent rubbers for my braces. Sebab my mom have always admired Shahir's* braces expecting me to pull off that similar color. Yes, mommy is always right, I think they are more neat & compliment the teeth very well. Transparent for braces is like white for weddings, you'll never go wrong! :D

P/S/S: One of the brackets fell off! Have to re-fix.

I was all excited & spirited to watch the semi finals yesterday, I turned down a movie invitation. Like I said earlier, Malaysia was not in my favor to win the semis but neither did I expect a total collapse of our team. 0-3!!  They were nothing close to ending their 18 year- wait! Honestly after Super Dan scored the 1st point @ the 1st match, I just knew right there, Lin Dan would lead until the end. Infamous for his on-court arrogance, I couldn't deny Lin Dan's easy and control victory over Datuk LCW. In harsher word, he made LCW looked like a novice.

Don't let me begin with the other 2 straight sets defeats of our 1st doubles and 2nd single, cuz I did not bother to watch anymore. China were just too good yesterday. Their stinginess- keeping their excellent players for international tournaments obviously paid off! 

P/S: I am still not over Lin Dan's shirtless robot dance. This is what the champ got to say "The 1st time I took off my shirt was at the 2004 Thomas Cup Finals, I was so happy when I defeated Peter Gade. I was young then. This time I took off to see whether I am as muscular as before!"

P/S/S: Looking forward to that again if he wins over Taufik in the finals! haha

Thomas Cup Semi-Final. Lagu Tema: Don't Stop Believing by Glee cast

We faced China in the semi final back in 1992, when we bagged the Thomas Cup. Will the history repeat itself today? Being a realist (neither a pessimist nor an optimist), apparently, it is near an impossible task but (maybe) the advantage of "home support' can surmount the odds that the team have against them. 

The most anticipated  match between the most celebrated players -Chong Wei (World No 1) and Lin Dan (World No. 2) carries the highest burden because it all depends on Chong Wei for us to look forward to the other great battles by the Malaysian shuttlers. Considering Chong Wei's records against Lin Dan, 6-13 it is, Datuk Lee Chong Wei however has improved by leaps and bounds to trouble the latter.

Hope is also highly placed to our no 1 pair Koo Kien Kiat & Boon Heong to deliver the 1st Two points as the experts are a little bit skeptical of Choong Han vs Chen Jin, Mohd Zakry & Hoon Thien How vs Guo Zhengdong & Xu Chen and Hafiz Hashim vs Chen Long. 

In a nutshell, Malaysia is confident to win at least two points (from our 1st single and 1st pair) but nonetheless, again, playing at home is longed to make a difference: for Malaysia to do the unexpected~

It seems that securing a place in the finals is heavier than winning the cup itself! All the best to the national shuttlers! Siapakah di finals, mungkin ka rumpun Melayu (Indo-Msia) atau (Jepun-China)?, atau secara bersilang? sama2 kita saksikan!

P/S: As I am typing this, Taufik Hidayat just won the 1st meet for the semi against Kenichi Tago (he needs braces!!) of Japan in straight set 21-9, 21-14. It appears that this Olympics Athens 2004 champion is still kicking despite his old age 4th year in Thomas Cup.

I hope you guys have yet past saturation of my babbling about Sabah.hehe ;p

I am never an enthusiast of beach, I prefer waterfall and stream but hands down to this. Sabah has a widespread reputation of having affairs with beaches just below the paradise standard, and KK is one perfect place where you can have the best of both world, the highlands & the beach! And of course, state of the art shopping complexes and eating places. See the reason why I am so into this place?? How can you not be tempted by the fair & lovely carpet of sands and the bluest of blue crystal clear water? 

Tengoklah air tuuuu. tempat begini harus posing ala2 carefree and breakaway gitew..

All u need is a mat, dah leh picnic terus..
