Ayam Percik Adam Lambert

Hari ini, di hujung minggu yang super panas,after beri mandi Fahrin & selepas hujan lebat, I decided to put on my toque again. It's Ayam Percik today.

Ingredient A (for roasting the Chicken)

Shallot
Lemon grass
Ginger
Salt
Honey
Pepper

(Semuanya agak2 jer, sesedap rasa, according to the amount of your birds)

Ingredient B (for the gravy)

1 packet of coconut milk
Shallot
Lemon grass
Salt
Sugar
Asam Jawa @ Asam keping


A. Rub the chicken thoroughly with blended shallot, lemon grass and ginger, or you can just use pastel and mortar. Pre-heat the oven at 250 degree and  cook for approx. 15 minutes with upper and lower fire.

B. In a pan, stir the coconut milk on slow fire. Insert shallots, lemon grass. Add sugar, salt and asam jawa to taste.

C. Take out the chicken (after 15 minutes of cooking), put the gravy on top and roast again for 15 minutes with upper fire at the same temperature.
