I love carrying my duty as a daughter, staying alone with mak can't be any better. I wish I can cherish this very opportunity and moment before I lost it one day. To channel your intangible contribution is priceless. To see a satisfied expression from Mak after she comes back from work is a satisfaction for me myself.

There are only 2 kinds of people around me. 1) Who bring me up and 2)  bring me down. Being selective of what comes around me really makes the difference. No one is responsible for my happiness as well as my sorrow. Some people are just not worth my time. Definitely Mak always bring me up no matter what.

Braces Log

Now is the real deal. Its time for the dentist to fix my bottom braces and that involves more than what I could imagined. Now my teeth are moving, so, the dentist need to synchronize the movement with the bottom teeth. Therefore, they mustn't clash. You don't want an above tooth going to the left and the bottom tooth going to the right. (opposite sides case lah). To avoid this, I have to technically open my mouth all the time so the teeth don't get clenched, or else it will hamper the purpose altogether.

This is what the dentist will do to me,

A stage is build on my last 3 molar teeth. This will naturally create a gap cos I wouldn't be able to clench my teeth. Got it? To perform this, they have to drill all my fillings before building the stage. Hell? Yes. And for quite some time, I have to depend on only one side of my mouth to chew. Obviously I can't chew well. After the tooth has moved to the desired location, then, the stage will be scratched and I have to undergo another torturous fillings procedure.. Ingat best pakai braces? TAK!

I think, I am experiencing all the hard way in my braces application, I have undergone all the painful procedures since the beginning. You name it, 4 teeth extraction, removal of excess tissue, braces tightening!! I think I can proudly say I can handle all the pain in the world as for now.

Nasihat: Kalau rasa nak buat braces tu, fikir betul2, bincang dengan tersayang, teruk sgt kah gigi tu, sebab saya sebagai seorg yang mengalami- u have to have strong reason to worth the pain, Seriously.. I mean it..

Seriously, I can't wait :) Counting the days...

My brain & heart really need mercy. I am literally marking the calendar day by day.

Ayam Percik Adam Lambert

Hari ini, di hujung minggu yang super panas,after beri mandi Fahrin & selepas hujan lebat, I decided to put on my toque again. It's Ayam Percik today.

Ingredient A (for roasting the Chicken)

Shallot

Lemon grass

Ginger

Salt

Honey

Pepper

(Semuanya agak2 jer, sesedap rasa, according to the amount of your birds)

Ingredient B (for the gravy)

1 packet of coconut milk

Shallot

Lemon grass

Salt

Sugar

Asam Jawa @ Asam keping

A. Rub the chicken thoroughly with blended shallot, lemon grass and ginger, or you can just use pastel and mortar. Pre-heat the oven at 250 degree and  cook for approx. 15 minutes with upper and lower fire.

B. In a pan, stir the coconut milk on slow fire. Insert shallots, lemon grass. Add sugar, salt and asam jawa to taste.

C. Take out the chicken (after 15 minutes of cooking), put the gravy on top and roast again for 15 minutes with upper fire at the same temperature.

You are done! Yummy3!

When In Rome. Boring.

Tanpa melengahkan masa, a movie junkie I am, went for the overrated When in Rome today with Mom, only to realize that it is a major disappointment. One word. Cliche. If it's not because of the tower-high Josh Duhamel, I think I have just wasted RM12 and my precious 1 1/2 hours for that movie. My advice is to stay away from the movie unless you fancy Josh Duhamel, and you'll thank me for saving you from boredom. 

It's about Beth who loves her career more than anything else and doesn't believe that true Love exists. Cliche. her baby sis got married in Rome and that's where she met Nick (Josh). Cliche. She thougt she fell in love when she caught Nick locked lips with another woman. Cliche. Beth ended up drunk, cliche, and stole some coins from the fountain of Love. The Romans believe that if you take coins from the fountain, the owner of the coins will fall in love with you. Nick owned one of the coins she stole? CLICHE!!!

Ok, I am done.

P/S: I envy Fergie for waking up to that THING every morning! Urghhhh!!

A Pink Diamente Watch to mend my broken heart..

I have just redeemed a resplendent pink diamente bracelet watch with this. I fell in love instantly the moment I set my eyes on it. I'm a normal happy girl who celebrates her purchase redemption.

It is a perfect quintessence for something feminine. Pink and bejewelled.

Despite being too big for my malnourished wrist, still I superlove it.

A friend needed my favor to send him off to the airport today but called off at the last minute. It was too late for me to go home and too early to fetch mommy, so I decided to go for a movie date with myself . Woh pathetic nya. I have been in  the mood to date lately (I think it's the hormone) but only to realize that I am in a long distant relationship with everyone! (T_T)

I went to MBO and found out that today is the When in Rome premiere! Dengan excited nya I went to the counter to purchase the ticket but I got this respond. 

"I'm sorry miss, this is the premiere theater, tak boleh seorang, sekurang2nya dua orang, sebab ni semua couple seats" 

PATHETIC NYA. SLAP ON MY FACE. HUHU.

Luckily I was not that desperate that I grabbed any random stranger just to share the seat with me.  (berazam nak tgk dgn mak this weekend).

So I ended up watching Date Night. My, the movie was hilarious, it's been a while since I last had a laugh out loud moment and such an endorphins rush. It was a teary one, seriously, Tina Fey is a genius! Even tgh taip ni pun still nak ketawa. It's about a couple who struggle to reignite their marriage. So, one night, the husband took his wife on date at one exclusive restaurant. But they nabbed other people's reservation and that was when all the trouble began. Must watch peeps!!100% lawak.

Another different story, my bestie, Purple Lady just had an amazing bachelorette holiday in KK and yes, you got it correct, my other best friend Rostika became the host. They had marvellous time, I'm so jealous that I harassed them every minute for update. hahaha

I said I feel like crying seeing this pic. Purple Lady said don't be, just super impose my pic inside. Haha

Hows that Eppa? hahaha.. Still I feel very bad for not joining them (T_T)

How to Train Your Dragon

Here I go again with my endless movie reviews. Ha Ha Ha, I know I am quite late for this, but finally I watched How to Train Your Dragon! (after all the "this-can-wait") The house was still full despite the movie has been in the theater for nearly a month!

I superlove the movie and I bet animal lovers can totally relate to the story! 

It is about a Viking named Hiccup. Vikings are naturally raised to become dragon slayers. Although the fragile Hiccup aspires so much of killing the infamous Night Fury, he finally discovered how they have misjudged the creatures after he saved an injured dragon which he named Toothless. Both of them become very attached; this is against the Viking's tradition and Hiccup must pay the price for it. But, just like what they say, once you name it, you're attached to it.

P/S: I'm falling in love with Toothless, reminds me of my Hafiz :'(

My bee... heee

Planet Sambal

After the scoop by Purple Lady, me and Mom decided to try this place ourselves. Thanks to her, finally, sampai seru nak masuk, walaupun dah lama dah Planet Sambal ni terpacak kat situ. If I were to give my verdict, I think most of it will go to the settings! hehe, cuz everything is pink, from the chair, to the menu to the uniform.. I like~ But Careful of wearing pink, the last thing you want is to be mistaken for a waiter. And they have lots and loads of mirror too..

Food wise, Planet Sambal as it's named, they have all the condiments under the sun. You name it, they have it, sambal sotong, udang, ikan bilis, tempe, daging. ect.. The downer would be the drinks, cuz they are quite pricey.

Mak had this, kue tiaw kerang, sedap, highly recommended.

It's Complicated

Went out for another movie date with cuzzie today, watched It's Complicated. Warning: For those under 30-ish will find the movie a bit disgusting, intimate love story of people above 50 years old of age sure not as luring as Efron and Hudgens', right? But I will definitely give merit to Meryl Streep for aging so gracefully.  She looks so fine with her silver hair and wrinkles. 

Here goes the synopsis, Jane (Streep) met her ex-husband Jake (Baldwin) after 10 years of divorce, during their son's graduation day and got hooked up. They become so into each other that they did not realize they're actually having an affair. Jake being remarried, creates a complicated situation, cuz Jane now is none other than the 'other' woman.

P/S: Jane owns a bakery in the film and there's a scene of her making croissant. (somebody actually asked me to learn that once)..Now I know how they make it. :)

Anyways I found this, a bitten ice cream brooch.. And they have so many more, bee, sheep, cake, tortoise, even school bus! This brings me down to my younger days..

Our family make it a tradition to go to every cat show. This was held last week end at The Hills. Dapat amik pic sedikit jer cuz of the cats' snobbish, over possessive hoomans, limited space and very dark venue.
