I was admitted to the labor ward at 11pm. I was already 5cm dilated. There, my painful episode began. The nurse inserted the most painful thing ever, ubat berak, up until now, my labor would be the easiest experience ever sans this ubat. Argh..
I literally plea to my husband to refuse that stupid ubat. After that I was asked to change into the labor gown and IV drip and CTG machine were then fixed.
The doctor expected another 4 hours for full dilation, and I napped while B was beside me to monitor my condition. At 2 am, I began to feel mild contractions. :/ and by then I was 7 cm dilated. Deep in my heart, I hope I can do this because I don't want to be induced with Pitocin. At 3am, the pain worsen. I was shaking and I think it's time. Yup, I was right, at 330am, I was fully dilated and the pushing game began. Despite my pregnancy was all smooth since month 1 up to the pushing part, this was when my greatest fear occured! I got a furious midwife! But as long as B was there with me, come what may! hahaha
Alhamdulillah, at 345am, my gem Ayra Maysaa was safely delivered into this world. B kissed me and miraculously all the pain disappeared! I had my princess for a while and I was all smiles! I felt so relieved, in love and thankful.
She was then cleansed, and like other parent would act, B impatiently looked for his daughter and brought her back to her mommy, all clean and wangi :) After I kissed her and took a good look at her,B then recited Azan and Iqamat to our precious gem.
Would I go this excruciating experience again you'd ask?
Definitely!!Worth every del unit of pain I felt.
Now I appreciate my Mom even more, and for men out there, please appreciate all women in your life! All the pain in the world, yet they have no problem making it again and again.
I admit, I am timid through out all this, I am thankful B is with me through out all procedures, (since he is a staff, he is allowed to conduct any procedure and monitor my condition all by himself), I have my parents who made the path easy for me, yup, I manage to nudge all the sayings that delivering in government hospital is tormenting, yet I had a fantastic team all through out!! My sisters, in laws , friends and last but not least, Sophie Rose Medina who envisioned me strength.
He's all tired and worn out :/
