Press release
I have just gained courage to come upfront with this.
I lost my handphone. I lost it during my Malaysian Airlines flight MH2504 from KL to Kuching on 2nd September 2010. I was seated at 29D, the second last row. I last checked my hphone when the plane landed, the last msg I read was from Aza, my friend, after that, messages kept coming in, that the already exhausted handphone of mine turned off. I after that shoved my handphone into my jacket's pocket. We then permitted to leave the cabin approximately 10 minutes later. I realised that my handphone is missing while at the immigration. I returned quickly to the cabin as I was really sure I dropped it in the cabin. I saw by then, the crew of MH2504 had left the plane. I asked them weather they have my handphone (just in case). They denied and advised me to look for it in the cabin. I straight away went into the cabin and asked permission to look for my handphone. I could see the cleaning was already in progress.Crap. A stewardess, instead of being helpful, despised my request. "Ni lah yang susah ni" was her very sentence. I looked everywhere and literally in a prone position on the cabin floor to make sure that I didn't miss a spot, but to no avail. :(

I was asked whether I wanted to lodge a report or not. I did. I lodged a report at the Lost and Found counter
on the ground. It has been 4 days now, still no news. So, it is official now, I lost my precious, 6 months old Pink Sony Erricson W595. Although it is not as pricey as your smartphones, it ached me as much.
Still it remains a mystery, because my handphone was litreally gone in 1 minute gap in term of time and 100 meters far in term of distance (from the cabin to the immigration). Even if I did drop it when I was walking to the immigration counter, it would be obvious to the eyes (sight) and ears (sound). That justifies the fact I am very sure I dropped it inside the cabin but where is it?? I hope this rant could help get me over with it soon. I miss my handphone so much especially its ringtones..
