Travelling Alone

Since long leave is impossible for B, so he had returned to KK earlier. So it was officially my 1st time travelling alone with Ayra, my, only God knows how anxious I am prior to the trip, how am I gonna handle a 6kg add on? Huhu, but I was wrong, it was a lot easier than I thought, Ayra behaved and that actually assisted the whole situation. Looking forward to more us trip in the future(sbb B's leave is useless to be argued on hehe)

Raya oh yeah!

Salaaam, I bet everyone is still carried away with the Eid Spirit, me too. Big sis and b had already resumed their routine leaving me, Ayra and my parents in Kuching! How can! This year, it is my turn to celebrate in Kuching. I pre-warned b about Sarawakian 'rules' celebrating raya, one of them, full suited Baju Melayu for at least 7 days, ahahh. B being submissive, prepared himself (according to him) the most baju Melayu he ever had for Hari Raya, so we had a colorful raya as a result. he, Surely we had fun, how's yours?

Grey & yellow

On the 2nd day of raya, the plan was initially to visit our wedding OP to re-print some of our wedding pics, he ended up giving us complimentary family photo! Yeeehaaa!!

Counting days

Aidilfitr is just days away, am still at my office completing the last kopek, we will return to Kch on eve of hari Raya, because B can only be free by then., and he's not keen of me handling Ayra alone should I go back earlier. We had pre-raya photoshoot last night, tradition. Happy Raya & Holiday to all my readers, have a safe journey back to kampung and maaf zahir & batin :)

Pink Ayra Maysaa?

Knowing me, feminine is my middle name, pink, frills, lace, ruffles, ribbons, flowers describe me best. When it comes to Ayra, people expect me to do the same since the moment they knew I bore a girl. But they are wrong. Ironically, I actually loath girls who are too girly, in my defense, I am not too girly, I just love pink. So I want to sideline the obvious for Ayra, I want her to be the simplest, less is more, laid back type of lady, you know, hipster kind. Furthermore, according to B, girls who loves pink are usually gedik. Sorry that you are married to one B. :/

Ayra is not the baby with thick lock, so she is mistaken to be a baby boy everytime. And my sister always complain that I never dress Ayra up like a girl, a real baby girl, with dress, headbands and such. So yesterday, I decided to play dress up with Ayra. She's thriving now, so most of her girly2 attire fit her already.

Ayra, all ready for iftar

Few minutes later,....

Our Ramadhan so far

I just got back from my 2 days travelling in kl. We had our final critics session for our case study workshop, remember i went to felda sungkai and had my skirt entangled? Yup, it has approached its finale and we are assesed for what we have produced. Similar to viva we had in uni.

This is also my 1st time being apart from my sugarball and I have to admit it ain't easy, I keep thinking about her while I am not!got it? Her videos and pics shares by b and her aunties triggered my tears everytime.
In other note about my critics session, my turn was scheduled in the 1st day, means I am free on the next day, such a perfect time for a retail therapy as big sis is on leave :)

Seriously i dont look forward to any outstation stints for the time being.

yesterday's Iftar, my cupcake is 2 months 2weeks old at present.

Working Mommy

This is my first week working after my maternity leave. Towards the end of it and embracing Ramadhan we are in 2 days time. Alhamdulillah, things are not as difficult as I expected but can't deny by the end of the day, if I were a battery, my power is already alarming red. Maybe because Ayra's babysitter is at my workplace make the whole things easier. Alhamdulillah. By noon I visit Ayra and I can see her laughing and cooing , which somehow make me sad, because at night, Ayra usually sleeps after feeding, means I miss her active phase :( (seriously I ever thought quitting because I want to exclusively take care of her) apakan daya, bapak kaya mak mentega. uhuk2....

Work wise, stacking and piling up like I expected. Now I have lost my 'shield', I can't get away with the pregnant reason anymore. But I still can manage but sometimes there's glitch here and there as I'm running my responsibility as a working mother and wife. I salute all working mothers out there and I envy all housewives.

Heels...after so many months not wearing them, they make me look like walking with both left feet, having a hard time adjusting to heels..

This kind tudung most of the time now, no time to iron mengiron and lilit melilit..

My Ayra just turned 2 months last week. So far she's doing fine, I hope she remains as an easy baby as she is always.

going for her 2 month jab

<3 u so so much my little munchkin!

Hope working mothers out there can share your experience/system. :)

Ayra to babysitter

I have started sending Ayra to her babysitter since two days ago. I haven't started working yet but I want both Ayra and the babysitter to be familiar with each other and my 1st day of work wouldn't be so chaos . o far she's doing fine. It never crossed my mind that being apart with Ayra is so hard. I weeped the moment I left the babysitter's door closed, huaa. Alhamdulillah, I managed to find a babysitter for Ayra within my workplace, (staff quarters) she is my staff's wife, so during work, Ayra is just literally walks away from my office, means during lunch I can visit my baby! I hope there'll be no problem after this, syukur sangat dpt babysitter dekat2.. I even think of fixing a baby cot in my office! Xmau jauh2!

Its gonna be my routine every morning from now on....

Mulut jadi popcorn lepas balik dari nanny!

Ayra's First Flight

We are now in KK!! Ayra definitely has a lot to tell about her first flight! Significant for her as her first and the fact that we are delayed or more to stranded at the airport for a good 7 hours, and surprisingly it was by MAS. The flight's delay was announced right after we entered the departure and that was when our waiting game began. You know the delay was bad when they began to ask you to claim meal coupon and so did we. Initially we were informed the flight will take off at 10:40am, (original time is 9am) then, continuous announcement made until we embarked at 2pm after being informed that there was a technical mishap with our aircraft and we had to wait for a substitute.

Ayra's been a very good girl along the way, she only woke up for nenen and nappy change. Nappy changing room in KIA was miserable, please2 do something about it, they treated it like a store room where I could find mop and pail inside, euwww! And KKIA nappy changing room isn't pleasant as well, it has no matress, pity Ayra :( But this girl of mine was in a very good mood when she was in the flight. She napped all the way and woke up right after the aircraft hit the pad. Like seriously, maybe because of the shake.

Nak berangkat

Nappy changing room in KKIA yang takde matress :/

Seriously berat hati nak pegi kerja and hantar Ayra ke nanny/nursery.. :(

Raising Ayra

Maybe the term 'raising' is too early to be applied to me, for my daughter just reached 1 month and 8 day old today. Though such a short period, I learnt a whole lot! Like I always proclaimed, I was a self centred during my old days. Was. Everything evolved around me me me. I don't even share wardrobe with my husband. Until Ayra came into my life. And I think it's not wrong to admit I am not fond of kids and neither am I their favourite Ha  ha Ha. In the sense that I am not the type who kids will approach to play with or to ask something, probably someone they hate! haha, I am not the type who go to mothers with kids and ask to carry their babies, admiring from afar will do rather than held responsible for dropping someone else's child. Hahah

But, having my own, with my despicable attitude, has taken its toll on me. I became scared and not confident. I have never handled a kid before what more to say baby! And neither I am the diligent one like most of first time mothers now who read all the books in the world and become expert prior the birth of their 1st child. I prefer to go with the flow. First few days of Ayra homecoming, it's Mom, Dad and Hubby who handled her. The vision of her falling down, getting hurt really scare me! Until B has gone back home and my parents had returned to work. It's only me and Ayra at home!  I tell you for 1st time mothers out there, with pride, I HAVE NO PROBLEM handling Ayra, (so far) maybe its a gift from Allah to mothers. All my fear is useless! I gave her bathe like I have done it forever. Even I myself was amazed by this, so far, I don't have any major problem 'raising' a baby. Except when she decides to become nocturnal. See, I never stayed up in my whole life, be it the most important exam, I never compromised my sleep. So this is a tad hard for me. Sometimes I gave up and passed her to my mom should I become a zombie.

So far, Ayra is easy from month 1 of my pregnancy, she never gave me any problem up until labor, I hope she stays like this until she leaves home. Still a very small fraction of the beginning of her milestone, there's still so very much ahead to look forward for my Ayra. :)
