KK Trip Part II; Lagu Tema: Firework by Katy Perry

The chances are, if you heard about Sabah, it's beaches and Mount Kina will be among the first images you have in mind. It turns out to be so true. My last day here, we planned for island hopping but there was a sudden heavy pour which means plan to the drain... We were so serious that Ika even prepared curry puff and my kek batik for bekal. You should see it for yourself how wild can the sea be when it rains. So me and Ika just do anything to kill the time.
Since it is still early (0900hrs) we decided to grab a breakie at this place called Fook Yuen. It is a kopitiam but a tad extraordinary. Since Old Town halal status is still grey (thanks b for reminding me) so, we opt for Fook Yuen this time around, and it's funny when there's OT, Fook Yuen will surely be next to the premise, and a tough competitor as well. We went to the Karamunsing branch. I reckon Fook Yuen has already existed during my master time, tapi asek OT jekan time tu. The best part about Fook Yuen- it is Halal JAKIM certified, much2 cheaper than Old town and more varieties of menu. You should try their chicken feet char siew. Yummeh to the max!

They have this Economic Dishes part, not bad..

I go for Ala Carte, roti kahwin and hot coffee. Yummeh.

When you smile, the whole world stops and stares for while, cos girl you are amazing just the way you are!

Bon Appetite! (I always always always secure for outdoor seat, really despise the aircond)

It's Halal Toyyiba!

Later around 10, our other friend said that he is in Tuaran, Shang Ri La, precisely. So since we have nothing better to do, and intended to test Ika's Arjuna for long journey, so why not, off we went to Tuaran,

 My, the place is magnificent!

 The beach!

The Yin of my Yang

Here, you can have your own private hut for picnic or anything.

It looks like this (ihsan abang Google)

 Restaurant in the middle of the shore!

 Pool (tiba2 teringat dinner 18 ni tema pool party, mati)

The Foyer

Inside the resort
At one of the restaurant, there are 3 restaurants altogether
Stairways to haven lobby.

Some say it's Heaven..

After that, I rushed my way to the airport to send B's parents and bro off. They are now having vacation in Beijing for a week.
"Xi Wang ni wan de hen ka xing. Ji de mai li wu ge wo!"
~~~~~~
Now the least anticipated moment has arrived. Time to go home! sobs sobs sobs, Ika sent me early because she had to go to Inanam to pick some parcel from the bus terminal.
But look who's sending me off??
Tadaa! This little man!
Paling best digomol2 ni!
Its ok Arif, nanti aunty akan pasti datang lagi dan lagi dan lagi sampai Arif pun boring tengok aunty. he
Aren't they adorable? That's my FSIL, Arif's mom. Yup I know, she looks way younger and babier. hehe Baby-er. not bieber! he
Honestly, my trip to KK this time is a little slacking. Lots of rushing involved yet I didn't manage to catch up with Suria KK, Easyway, Yoyo, Salut etc etc. And wrong timing too. I missed my FSIL's SIL's wedding, and her SIL's son's birthday.  I should have extended my stay for another 2 days baru lah ngam, but it's ok, there will always be next time.. :) Nevertheless, it is still joyful!
KK Trip Part I; Lagu Tema: I Like It by Enrique Iglesias
Just got back from my Kota Kinabalu vacation. Same old things to look forward to but the peculiar thing about this trip this time around are baby Arif of course and...... Ika's Armando. Yup, I finally get to see both of them. My fiance's 6 months old nephew has really grown huge up!
On the 1st day, I feel obliged to visit my alma matter. Ni mesti, I have the highest sense of belonging to UMS compared to the rest of my academic institution, maybe because not only I got certified an MHCM but I learnt a lot about life. Ok, don't make me start.
 The exact place where I was conferred my MA.
De Javu indeed
Ngeee...
Later in the afternoon, I got msg from my FIL inviting me for a lunch to celebrate their anniversary. Hang Li Po restaurant it was. Thumbs up for all the food, they tasted so good that I did not capture any dish, plus, Arif is the main attraction. Main ngan Arif je..Just for the record, we had TomYam, ayam mango, butter prawn, salted egg crab, fried calamari, kailan (i think) and steam fish!
 Take one
 Take two, oklah, intro sikit: L-R: Ika, Aunty, Me, Akak, Siti, Uncle, Ahmad, Abg Naza
Yang comel kat depan tu??
 Arif
Mama Arif, my FSIL, yang persis anak dara. Mana orang tau ni ada anak satu ni! hehe
We resumed the day with a stroll at CP and went straight home after that.
The next day, everyone was working, so I became the lady who lunches.Hehe. Ika asked me to run some errand for her, but before that, I visited B's place to hand over self-made Kek Batik from Kch and spend time with baby Arif :)
 Bulum mandi nii Arif ni...
 Gagagagagugu
 Yeay, Arif dah mandi... muahs2
Then I went off to settle Ika's amanah, pastu loitering about KK.
 Soto Ayam @ Sinsuran, Yummeh!
 Later at night, we had dinner at none other than our beloved TLC!
But it was a bummer cos we were overcharged, RM38.60 for sayap ayam and tom yam 2 org makan. How can!?!
Ini ah moi sedang in love, 24 hours berSMS jer, tak lekang dr tangan, there are instances I actually bercerita sorang2 rupa-rupanya!
Speaking of that, I finally had the chance to meet and spoke to Armando. He is a nice guy and he looks something like this:
Yeah.. I doa yang baik2 jer untuk kamu berdua, ada jodoh kali sebab muka iras2..hehe...
to be continued...
Luncheon; Lagu Tema: Buat Aku Tersenyum by SO7
We walked out for lunch with a feeling of epiphany. Suddenly we took a detour form our usual route, to Pullman Hotel, thanks to their gigantic poster; it says: RM18++ for lunch. Eighteen! Effective advertising, because it took us no time to decide. New chef to boot! Harus.
These are my friend's choice, you will get to choose one appetizer+one main dish+one vege menu.
The best would be my menu-- soft shell crab but I forgot to snap any pics. What an absent minded. Am just not that focus lately.
 Ms Jane, our big sis, Thats why I never go against the light, u know what I mean? hehe
Pressca eats & prays. Later she comes home, she loves. eat.pray.love.
Me? Nothing
Oh ya Dr Alex, This Saturday! crap!
