Our friend Oscar secured a post in the WWF. Since me & Ika settle in the academia, we find his job is rather interesting. We are curious about his nature of job besides the blatant mission- to put the degradation of the planet's natural environment into a halt. So it's pretty normal to watch them don casually to work. Here are some of the information we got from him that I think I am obliged to share with you guys.

• There are only 3200 tigers left worldwide
• Cockles are in the extinction progress
• Coal is the biggest polluter
• The north pole is shrinking at 0.03% every year 
• The 5 most endangered species in Malaysia are Tigers, Rhinos, Orang Utan, Elephant, lagi satu nda ingat. hehe Pangolin ka ?
• Polystyrene usage is one of the highest rank of misconduct in WWF

You say you love animals? You have dozens of cats and dogs and hamsters at home? Trust me, that alone will not do. Os recently conducted an interview to recruit new staff and these kinds of answers for him are common and lazy. So, kalau rasa nak work with WWF ni, kena do your homework lah yer. But I think I would answer the same if they ask why would I want to join them.."Cuz I love cats, I'd cry if my cats die" ahhaha..

Last but not least, what can you do to be part of the solution? If you can't commit to financial pledge monthly, you can always take baby steps to conserve the environment. As for me, I refuse ATM receipt and I will put off the engine if my car's idle more than 2 minutes. Little that we know, baby steps approaches can make a huge difference. Kalau dah banyak duit nanti, leh la beli Prius kan.. hehe

I am not a plastic bag. Tapi sah2 ada plastic berdekatan. My German colleague once told us how much they despised the excessive of plastic usage in our country.

But I am a little more toned down, I just go local by tracking all the Old Towns. Eleh, baru Borneo pun.hahaha... I love this place because of the fact that I can still enjoy the smooth wifi connection, cozy ambience and good local food without having to pay more than RM10 for a cup of coffee drink. :) Plus it invokes the step back in time during the gud old daes.. :(

I have been deprived of these for 7 months already, and I will not waste any opportunity I have to gnaw on them. Gluttony is too harsh, so I would put it up as binging.

1. Yoyo, Easyway

Sabahans really respond well to bubble tea. I can't believe there's a double story YOYO cafe erects in Luyang, a cozy one of course selling only these. An indicator of how well they are received. And you can find one branch within 3 km radius!Let's see how many times I have sipped these tubes.

2. Tanjung Lipat Corner

I dare to say there's no other place can grill chicken as perfect as theirs! And you do not need to grill your pocket to savour these honey chicken wings. Only RM 1.50 each..yummy2

And did I tell you they make the best tom yam too??!!

3. Upperstar

There's a new eating place Ika recommended me. It's TGIF and Chilli's concept altogether but at a very2 marked down price. Every table is provided with a PC!

I couldn’t believe it, my stay in KK has to end. 12 days of my vacation passed by at 12 minutes pace! Well, they say, good times don’t last long. :( By the way, it has been a wonderful period in Kota Kinabalu, as everyone tries hard to dance to my chimes amid their busy schedule, especially Rostika & Os who have to juggle between their work and me to optimize my holiday! Thanks to both of you for u guys have always been a remarkable pal all through. (This is acknowledged by my people too!!)

But, but, but don’t expect for me to dip into the blue sea of Manukan neither had I chill in the temperature of Ranau highlands this time around because that’s vacationing. I am not. I have lived here, this place is not new for me. There’s more than that which startle me. I am reminiscing my tremendous moments that I used to have in KK. My Alma matter of course, our after-class-get-together place, and of course food that are exclusively found in KK. Alright, just let me put them into themes. There’s a Sirih Pulang ke Gagang theme (my alma matter), Redemption theme (mostly of food and shopping) and of course Down the Memory Lane (the good times I ever had with my Loved ones in KK, sweet recollection about things or places which made me smile every time it strikes my mind).

1) Adakah anda ade lesen memandu?
 7 years and going strong. haha

2) Bilakah anda amik lesen memandu?
Ooops, i think I have answered this in advance.

3) Berapa lamekah pengalaman memandu anda?
Walaupun dah ada lesen untuk 7 tahun tapi pengalaman hanya 6 tahun sebab mak tak bagi bawak lesen time di matriks :)

4) Pengalaman pahit ketika memandu...
Well2, erm accident dilanggar dari tepi oleh teenagers yang baru dpt lesen memandu.. shock sekejap, and of course, tyre incident always happen to me, baru semalam tayar pancit.

5) Pengalaman manis?
Apabila 1st time driving kereta sendiri di Kota Kinabalu..dah pergi Kundasang 7x :)

6) 3 Tabiat ketika memandu
-wajib on radio,bukan cd, bukan MP3, wajib3x, if not i'll die!And kalau lagu hafal, mesti nyanyi sekali
-terus pasang seat belt before jalan, kalau tak rasa pelik
-baca bismillah everytime start enjin (ni saya tengok and belajar dari my Mom)

7) 3 pantang time memandu
-minyak hampir nak E
-orang ubah position seat saya
-tak pakai seat belt,
-tambah lagi satu, pantang jumpa org yang tak grad sekolah mandu, sebab saya pasti bunyikan hon selama yang mungkin sampai org tu rasa nak bunuh saya... (ni saya ikut my sister.Dia mmg pemandu berhemah)
