$$$$

I am not earning a fortune nor that I am born in a wealthy family. With baby coming on the way and my wedding just a tad time ago, budget is really my concern now. I'd love if you guys can share how your budget is planned.

My ustazah ever said, once you are married, a man should be the main PROVIDER for basic necessities, at least shelter, food, clothes and safety, (most bottom of Maslow's Hierarchy of needs) even so the wife earns more. But a solehah wife (I presume all women out there wish to be one) will try to ease the burden and assist any loopholes under the base of being taat.

I honestly admit I failed miserably in saving with the '20% of your earnings' theory, every month, there'd be slips here and there. But that was then, when I was single, I could care-freely spend because the only mouth to feed is mine. Now, things are different altogether,  I am detached from my parents, I have bills to pay, and the ultimatum, another live to feed. I can't continue with the crazy habits of 'impulsive purchase' or buy 'every color for one thing' anymore. Priority is definitely shifting now, so SAVING is a serious business!

The way I did it before, for every month, I will make sure I put aside 100 for every week of the month for AOB. With that, I can ensure am not a waterless fish by the end of the month. Then I will start spending for the critical- which is to settle all the debts. But the funnier the world has become now, no matter how much you earn, it's just not enough. True? Or is it just me. Honestly, since it is not long after the wedding, I really have to start from scratch in savings for my future, which is still in the tummy.

P/S: Please regard this as rantings from unstable hormone secretion. :)

Last but not least

I Love her baju and I Love her! Kenak kacak gilak????
With her dating the HRH Johor, she could be our future Queen many soon... Sesuai!!

salam akak..just nak share..saya pun bukan dilahirkan dalam keluarga yang senang..but my parent sangat2 berjimat..untuk masa depan katanya..so..mak saya kata.."sejak hari pertama saya dilahirkan, mak dah bukak akaun untuk saya..every month mak akan buat potongan gaji rm10 dan dimasukkan ke dalam akaun saya..abah pun buat perkara yang sama. So,every month, kiranya rm 20 akan masuk ke dalam akaun saya la..maybe amount tu sedikit bagi akak tapi lama2 akan jadi bukit kan..? so..imagine la akak..sekarang saya dah 21 tahun..duit yang mak abah simpan tu la yang beli latop dan keperluan pengajian saya sekarang.Alhamdullilah..sampai sekarang pun mak abah still buat potongan gaji..same goes to my other siblings ( im the eldest)..maybe akak boleh buat untuk baby akak nanty..and more babies to come...hehehhe..just sharing akak...=)

kinek tok bok mek sedar betapa nilai duit yaaa.. hehee... but kmk dlm dilema juak coz hubby keep on berpantun.. "mun dah keluar baby lak, better ktk stay at home, jaga anak2, x payah ktk nak kuang-kuit ngantar anak ke rumah mak, ke tadika, nak ke ofis gik. dpt juak kemas2 rumah, x mengarey gilak."(kmk nang jarang kemas umah, blt keja pun aher2.. heheh).

dulu when i found out i was pregnant, every month akan spend at least rm500 utk beli babystuff.beli sikit2.kalau nak splurge sekali harung mmg tak mampu la.

when you become a mother you learn to live with just one pair of shoes at a time, rotate balik pakai baju yg sama for years, so that you can afford to do impulse buying for baby stuff and toys (they are so irresistable!!)because you just dont have a heart to say no to your baby or deny him/her fine things.

tp aida most importantly make sure you have health, medical and educational insurance la for your baby nnti.

anyway dont worry too much about money, insyaalah rezeki baby mmg tak disangka2, sumayya herself saving pun dah almost rm2k hasil duit org bg dan duit raya alone.we are never really careful with how we spend our money but so far alhamdulillah duit tak penah tak cukup for the baby.plus im sure your sisters will spoil you child silly with gifts, toys, duit and cute clothes!hehe

me put aside at least 100 a month. kalau ada lebih bulan tu simpan lebih. cuba juga simpan duit lebih belanja harian. contohnya sehari makan rm10. kalau dari rm10 tu ada lebih simpan dlm tabung.

just to share, fr my experience, i wat loan ASB dgn bank..so, nnt tiap2 tahun dpt dividen..start keje, i trus buat..
alhamdulillah, at least ada jgk simpanan walaupun bln2 kdg x simpn pun..
tp loan ASB ni ade setengah org x suke, sbb ade interest..tp bile i kire blik, klu i x sentuh lgsung ASB tu, at the end dlm acc lumayan..hehehe.
